SunsetColada

Sunsetcolada is a travel blog written by Ebru Perera a Turkish, London based traveler and adventurer. For several years I had been employed in the fashion retail industry in various international roles that luckily gave me the opportunity to travel extensively. But my journey goes way beyond that. My passion for travel comes from my early childhood years travelling around with my family exploring the beautiful cities of Europe such as Paris, Rome, Vienna, and London, which is now my home. Travelling for business often took me back to the same places within Europe and the Middle East where I felt like I became a ‘local tourist’. Before you know it you become accustomed to certain traditions, regional delicacies, and start becoming friendly with the locals. Each time you return home, you enter your house feeling a little bit more enlightened, a bit more humble, a lit bit more of everything. You feel richer in many ways. After my first long haul trip to Brazil and spending over two weeks in and around the city of Rio de Janeiro, I returned home with what they call the ‘travel bug’. I needed to keep on exploring what our beautiful universe has to offer. This is what truly grew my hunger to become a full time globe explorer and to become a travel writer so that I can relive my journeys over and over again. Since then I have returned to Brazil and traveled around the country, visited Cuba, Bali, Thailand, Cambodia, Russia, America, Japan, Philippines and almost everywhere in Europe.

So then followed my travel blog - sunsetcolada. My aim is NOT encourage any of you to quit your jobs and become a full time traveler (of course if this is what you want then go for it!) but to write with a purpose.  The purpose is to share my passion and to inspire fellow travelers by connecting with you through my travel blog and photo journal. I also provide a bespoke travel itinerary planning service for those who need some guidance and help planning their trips through expert advice from locals, hidden secrets and top tips for each destination. More information on this service can be found under the TAKE ME THERE section of my website.

As I continue to live my dream, I hope you enjoy the imagery and the content of my website and try out my travel planning service ‘take me there’ for your next holiday. I look forward to your comments and feedback. Keep travelling!
